i feel like injora just proved that furitek has been charging way too much for their systems and making nice profit margins. did you see they just put thier newest tech up for 69 bucks injora out here forcing competition in the market place showing us how these companies have been shitting on us the whole time

fms every day of the week my first minis were axial,s deadbolt then chev c10 cause i only used axail 1/10 scales from their first release of the wraith and honcho about 15 years ago so i thought i try the power wagon fms and 27 trucks later all fms - hobbyplus evo,s one traxxas shitbox recently nice body but.. axail garbage steering servos' shitty tiny under powered motors bullshit wormdrive diffs they talk about scale there is no such thing learn how to drive the list go on ,on junk on a axail toy shocks gearbox tiny tyres no bead lock rims lights that stay on replace all that and now u have a FMS model

I have seen a ton of videos for the new FMS this one was one of the best. How this new FCX24M compares to the rest of the FCX24 line? I want one for homemade indoor crawling and also for our small backyard. I bought 2 WPLs during the lockdown, thrown a tone of money on them and they remained horrible so I sold them. I was thinking to buy the FCX24 Monster truck that comes with open diffs and also in the box has spare locked diffs. The portal axles give advanatage over the straight axles of the M? I don't want to spend money on upgrades. Probably only heavier wheels and tires.

I have that Grey Jeep and I've notice the same thing that it doesn't feather well at crawling speed when controller is switched to the 50, but when its switched to 75 or 100 its crawls with great finesse and feathers nicely.

Heads up, just received mine but the screw to mount the servo horn didn’t fit/work. I had to rig a shorter screw with a stiff rubber O ring to keep the horn from sliding off the splines. Seems like there are not enough threads as the supplied screw only turns maybe one or two turns. Waiting to hear from Direct Rc.

It is 1/24th scale, a unimog is closer in size to a GM 2.5 ton cargo truck than a light pick up truck. So it makes sense it would be larger than 1/24th light pick up model.😂😂

what transmission and gear did you used? The stock?

I kinda on the fence about getting this for my Bronco. The only downside to it, is....like I was watching from Cape Crawlers, is the "Cinfiguration Tool", but do you have to configure it, really? Or can you just "plug & play"? Just makes me nervous when having to mess with computer stuff, for these motors/ESCs...🤔🤨

I'd venture a guess that they dropped the stock Traxxas connector because they recommend 3s for this combo and the stock battery is only 2s. Or you got one that wasn't packed properly. Or they packed one specifically for you and knew you don't want the Traxxas adapter.

in the current landscape, i don't get why would anyone buy a SCX24. the only worse trucks are the RC4WD and the V1 Carismas. stock for stock, the FCX24M wipes the floor with it in every way imaginable "but i can upgrade it, bro". yeah. just start buying aftermarket parts straight away. you'll save money and won't end up with a bunch of worthless junk parts. not to mention that thanks to the utter junk electronics in SCX24s (other than the V2) you'll have to spend some serious money to get to the performance of a stock FCX24M, let alone a lightly modded one to optimize the weight "but there's so much more options for the SCX24, bro!". kinda. but not as much as you think. chassis(es) is the main difference here. SCX24 choice dwarfs all the other 24th and 18th scale platforms combined. by A LOT. axles? junk wormgear offers you untunable drag break and junk speed, so it's actually way less versatile and 'diverse' than the competition. a bit more tuning/gearing options, but not significant considering the drawbacks (and weak ass parts unless you want to spend some very, very serious money to get stuff like super8s with dluxfab shafts or whatever). a bit more diversity in width choice in the aftermarket, but whatever shocks? you can make them all work on all platforms with a bit of tinkering so moot point links/wheelbase? similar as above electronics? more straight up 'drop in' choices for the scx24, but again, with tinkering... transmission? depends what you want, so i'll say it's a tie (scx24 for comps, fcx for everything else) bodies... this is where SCX24 dominates. my 0,02€

Injora probably didn't want to get sued by Traxxass by including a connector that would've probably been not original Traxxass.

Great video matt, a while back I remember you referenced some battery that you were using with your scx24 I want to say it was smaller then the stock batteries, could I get a name so I can look those up please I'm looking for some replacements for my stock batteries smaller if possible

it is a good system and yeah its 59$ but you need to add a receiver that the furitek comes with at $90 and that power switch is way to big really . yeah the motor might be better than the furitek but i have had no problems with my furitek motors...touch wood lol.i am a huge injora fan as have loads of there stuff but they just need to refine it a bit and make the wires removable as well as removable switch, plus you get the awesome furitek app which allows updates etc, and will the injora esc fit on the side? as i know the furitek esc will.
